About the role
As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Product Management team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Product Manager and Designer with daily tasks, ensuring that product requirements are clearly understood and met, and conducting thorough QA testing to ensure the highest quality of our products.
Product Development Support
- Assist in the development and definition of product features and requirements.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and Design team to brainstorm and conceptualize new product ideas.
- Help in creating and maintaining product roadmaps and release plans
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure product objectives are met.
- Schedule and participate in regular product meetings, documenting decisions and action items.
- Conduct thorough QA testing on new features and products.
- Identify, report, and track product issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and resolve identified issues.
Market Research and Analysis
- Assist in conducting market research to understand industry trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Analyze user feedback and usage data to recommend product improvements.
Documentation and Reporting
- Help in preparing product documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and release notes.
- Create and update reports on product performance, progress, and forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in product management, project coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with QA testing processes and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to translate complex data into actionable plans.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in productivity and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
