Billing Associate
The Role
HiJiffy is looking for a Billing Associate to join our Finance team and take ownership of our billing operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate invoicing, efficient payment processing, and reliable financial record-keeping.
You will play a key role in implementing new tools to manage subscription data and streamline our billing processes. We’re looking for someone with a strong technical mindset, a solid understanding of subscription-based billing models, and a process-driven approach with exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsabilities
Lead the implementation and launch of a subscription management system that integrates with our invoicing platform and product.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Operations and the management team to ensure a smooth implementation and the creation of strong, reliable metrics dashboards.
Manage the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our clients.
Maintain and update customer billing information, contracts, and pricing agreements.
Reconcile invoices, payments, and accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Work with Customer Success and Sales teams to efficiently resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
Respond to customer questions related to billing, invoices, and payment issues in a timely and professional manner via our ticketing system.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and industry-specific billing standards.
Provide insights into billing trends, outstanding invoices, and revenue recognition.
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in billing, accounting, or accounts receivable, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
Demonstrated experience implementing billing or financial software.
Strong understanding of subscription-based billing models and contract management.
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
Strong communication skills in English; Portuguese, Spanish, or other languages are a plus.
