When I joined HiJiffy, I started using my benefits towards a personal trainer. I wanted to have a trainer to work out in the open air. Little did I know that he would introduce me to what now is one of my favourite ways to "blow off some steam" which is Krav Maga, an Israeli martial art!
This helps me with my physical and especially my mental wellbeing, which is something we must prioritise and I'm happy that HiJiffy is a company that encourages it at all times!
Moreover, I was happy to also use my benefits to buy a second screen, a desk and a chair so I was able to set up a really cool home office!
When I started working at HiJiffy, I only used a MacBook Pro, but as a designer, I felt the need for a bigger screen, so I used HiJiffy’s flexible benefits to purchase a 27” screen, which is amazing to work with on my daily basis. Later on, I decided to upgrade my chair with an ergonomic one (my back is thankful!), and I didn’t stop there!
In one year, my home office became full of cool gadgets that make my day-to-day workplace comfortable and awesome!
I believe I will continue using these benefits for technology every time I feel the need to upgrade something in my home office, as well as use it for health and sports for my daily gym time!
As a parent of two young children, having access to the childcare voucher is the best flexible benefit I could have as I'm able to optimise a lot in terms of taxes since there's a total exemption from IRS and TSU.
On top, the experience of issuing the childcare voucher is not only super easy and 100% digital, but also fully autonomous: I can set the exact value I want to use.

Initially, I used my flexible benefits towards my gym membership which was great. Later on, I decided to try something new... paddle. I started using it towards paddle lessons instead. After some months I realised I wasn't made for the sport (shocking!) so decided to upgrade my home office and invested the benefits into a portable second screen. It's been super useful as it doesn't take up a lot of space at home and I can easily take it to work in a café or when travelling. At HiJiffy, I'm able to use my flexible benefits to pay for my weekly piano lessons. All is done seamlessly and I don't have to worry about anything other than focusing on learning my Beethoven...
It's also very useful to pay for my monthly transportation card and gym membership. If I feel that the gym is not enough, I can always stop using the flexible benefits on the transportation card and start walking around. Might use that part of the benefits to invest in a PPR.
The best part of the flexible benefits is that they are, well, flexible! I used them first to set up a pretty cool work-from-home environment which turns into my creative space when I swap my work laptop for a personal one.
Once I achieved that goal, I’ve begun using the benefits towards a dance studio membership where I go to my house dance classes, and also for a public transportation card in Lisbon which comes very handy. That’s what I use my benefits towards these days, but knowing I can also spend them on a non-work related course, I think I may just as well start one that’s been at the back of my head for a while…
